The operational cycle is remarkably efficient: to magnetize and lift a ferromagnetic (iron) part, a short electrical pulse is applied. To release the load, another brief electrical pulse is applied in the opposite direction, which neutralizes and demagnetizes the unit, releasing the held piece. This magnetization and demagnetization cycle is incredibly fast, typically taking approximately 1-2 seconds.
