Magnetic Sheet Separators are strategically located on the side of the sheet pile, where they project a powerful magnetic flux into the ferrous sheets. This directed magnetic field induces temporary magnetic poles within each individual sheet in the stack. Consequently, the sheets become magnetized with like poles facing each other, causing them to actively repel. This repulsion results in the fanning out of the topmost sheets, ensuring the clean and precise separation of the uppermost sheet from those beneath it. This mechanism not only prevents the accidental lifting of multiple sheets but also positions the top sheet for effortless and safe transportation. As the upper sheet is removed, the continuous magnetic influence from the separator immediately causes the next sheet in the pile to rise into the optimal pickup position, maintaining a seamless workflow.

Sheet separators are successfully used to separate sheets both manually and automatically (with pneumatic system).
