Important Note: Handling and Storage for Optimal Performance

Due to AlNiCo’s relatively lower coercivity, prolonged exposure to open air or external demagnetizing fields without a ferromagnetic surface to complete its magnetic circuit can lead to partial demagnetization, causing a reduction in its holding force over time.

It is recommended to attach this protective washer to the magnetic surface in cases where it is not in contact with another ferromagnetic metal surface. This ensures that the magnetic field lines remain contained, preventing potential self-demagnetization and preserving the magnet’s attraction force for its intended application.
